The Covid Chronicle: A Touring Textile Installation
UK Touring Exhibition | 2022 – Ongoing

Philippa was proud to be a contributing artist to The Covid Chronicle, a monumental collaborative textile project founded and curated by artist Wendy Bliss.

Described as a Bayeux Tapestry for the 21st century, this historic work consists of 142 individual textile panels submitted by artists from 15 countries, each documenting a personal experience of the pandemic through the power of stitch.
Philippa's contribution to this collective record was created during the 2020 lockdown, following a specific template to ensure it could be seamlessly stitched alongside others into the final 36-metre installation. The project was established not only to archive this global event but also to support the mental health charity MIND, with many pieces eventually being offered for sale to raise funds for their essential work.
The Chronicle has toured extensively across prestigious UK venues, including:
The Sunbury Embroidery Gallery, London
Chippenham Museum, Wiltshire
The Lightbox, Woking
Riverside Studios, Hammersmith
Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, London
Williamson Art Gallery & Museum, Birkenhead
