The Universe Within

Philippa was delighted to have five of her pieces selected for the mixed media, group exhibition 'The Universe Within' curated by Latifah A Stranack at Copeland Gallery, Peckham.

 

A quote by Edvard Munch inspires the concept behind thew show - 'From my rotting body, flowers shall grow and I am in them, and that is eternity.'

The artists work responds to themes of memory, metamorphosis, the divine feminine, identity, nature, the cosmos, and what it means to be alive today.

In the run up to the Exhibition curator Latifah A Stranack held interviews with a selection of the artists involved.
