February 2023, Philippa is exhibiting in 'Finding Space' a collection of work by women and nonbinary artists, curated by Mary Modha. The work shown draws out the artists experiences navigating public, private, intimate and imaginary spaces.

9th -11th  February at OPEN Ealing, Unit 14 School Lane, Dickens Yard, London, W5 2TD.


August 2022, The Earth and Air Collection by Philippa Ashcroft is released. A limited series of unique Hand-stitched artworks, available to purchase, inspired by the land we roam and sky we ponder.

July 2022, The Covid Chronicle is showing at Riverside Studios, London from 29th July -29th August.

March 2022, Philippa is taking part in the Ukraine Support Pledge and donating some pieces to help raise money for the people of Ukraine. More information about it can be found here.

February 2022, Philippa is one of the artists involved in The Covid Chronicle, a collaborative textile art project founded by artist Wendy Bliss.
Devised during the nationwide lockdown of 2020, textile artists were invited to create a fabric panel of specific dimensions and depict their response to the Covid 19 pandemic.

The result is a powerful and poignant piece. 142 panels from artists all over the world, documenting the pandemic through different eyes with the power of stitch. The work will tour multiple UK venues beginning in February 2022 at The Sunbury Embroidery Gallery.

It will be at Riverside Studios in London during August 2022.

November 2021, Philippa is working on her first unique collection of textile art available to purchase. Enquiries can be made through the Contact page on this website.



October 2021, Alongside other international artists, Philippa's piece 'Release' was selected for S.E.W's 'Surface and Depth' exhibition at Palazzo Velli Expo Rome, Italy.

The exhibition aimed to showcase contemporary, stitched art internationally.



June 2020, Philippa was accepted to join The Society for Embroidered work (S.E.W) a select group of international artists aiming to promote and support the best stitched art worldwide.
