Stitch by Stitch: Contemporary Fine Art Textiles

Philippa was delighted to be part of Stitch by Stitch 2025, an exhibition celebrating the rich and evolving world of textile art at the Willow Gallery in Shropshire. Curated by renowned textile artists Alison Holt and Suzette Smart, this biennial event showcases a diverse range of work from over 80 established and emerging artists, highlighting the innovation and depth within the medium.
The exhibition focuses on the extraordinary possibilities of stitch, fabric, and mixed media, demonstrating how textile artists have firmly claimed a place within the realm of fine art.

Philippa's selected piece 'Below' continued her exploration of hand-stitched textures and organic forms, proudly joining a collective that aims to bring contemporary textile art to a wider audience.
